The Cantabrian brewery Dougall’s confirms it compromise with ObsessionA2 Club, supporting in a very special way, the big wave surfing event with more repercussion in Europe.
As well as the signing of the sponsorship of La Vaca Gigante, the agreement includes a limited edition of its famous beer 942, with a commemorative label of the big wave surfing event.
ObsessionA2 Club has been the scene of the presentation of the collaboration agreement between the brewery Dougall’s and the Organization of the big wave surfing competition La Vaca Gigante.
The Cantabrian brewery, located in Liérganes (Cantabria) and from where it has been growing the last 9 years until becoming a comercial model, continues showing its support to the Cantabrian sports and other cultural and leisure activities.
The bet of the brewery Dougall’s, which distribute all his products at national level and with a daily significant growth, has been reflected with the support to the sports event which has crossed borders in the last edition letting Cantabria on the front of the European surfing: La Vaca Gigante.
La Vaca Gigante brought together at the cliffs of El Bocal (Santander) in the last edition nearly 12,000 people who attended the event in order to enjoy the big wave surfing event which has crossed borders.

Andrew Dougall’s, Dougall’s ‘s co-founder, and Pedro García, ObsessionA2 Club’s director; were in charge of presenting, with the company of Juan Dominguez, Sports Councillor of Santander; the sponsorship agreement and the new commemorative label of La Vaca Gigante.
“ It’s a priviledge for us being sponsors of this Cantabrian event which crosses borders; we like to support Cantabrian iniciatives. La Vaca Gigante and Dougall’s have many values in common” Andrew Dougall’s – co- founder of Dougall’s brewery– comented adding a little bit of humour to the presentation of the commemorative label of the 942 on the occasion of the big wave event: “ The Dougall’s 942 and a good big wave such as La Vaca Gigante have a lot of things in common: it surprises, it ‘s cool and it doesn’t cause a hangover”.

The agreement between Dougall’s and La Vaca Gigante go great beyond a simple sponsorship. The Cantabrian brewery takes a step forward and launch to the national market a limited edition of one of its most symbolic beers, 924, with a special commemorative label of the big wave surfing event La Vaca Gigante.
The most Cantabrian and cool beer of Dougall’s, baptized with a local reference as it is 924, will spread out the image of the Cantabrian big wave surfing event La Vaca Gigante around the peninsula where it will be distributed. The new label with the image of La Vaca Gigante will be blue refering the sea and with a legend in its label refering to the perfect unión of this beer: “ Marriage: wetsuit, saltpeter and paraffin”.
